Anhalt University of Applied Sciences provides all members of the university community with campus-wide access to the Nautos database and the VDE Standards Library. Both databases offer access to extensive collections of standards and can be accessed via the DBIS database system.
Access to the Nautos Standards Database
The Nautos database is available for searching standards and other technical regulations. It includes:
- An extensive collection of two million national, European, and international standards as well as technical regulations that can be searched
- Full-text access to current DIN standards, including design concepts, pre-standards, supplements, and withdrawn DIN standards. These can be retrieved and saved as digital full texts.
- Full-text access to current ISO standards, which can be of great benefit for research and work
Nautos does not contain any VDE standards. These can be found in the VDE Standards Library.
Access to the VDE Standards Library
The VDE Standards Library offers a comprehensive collection of the regulations of the Association for Electrical Engineering (VDE). Use of the content is limited to non-commercial purposes for teaching, research, and study. Printing and saving the content is not permitted due to licensing restrictions. This includes:
- over 4,000 valid VDE standards in full text, as well as more than 1,100 withdrawn VDE standards since December 2010, complete with extensive bibliographic information
- direct access to allDIN-VDEstandards in the VDE regulations collection
