Online Database for Architecture and Civil Engineering
The DETAIL Inspiration image and full-text reference database contains more than 6,100 international project documents from the architectural magazine of the same name (starting with issue 1/1961, including special editions). Professional search functions and filtering options based on main keywords—such as building type, material, year of construction, or DETAIL issue theme—enable users to search for examples of creative building solutions in a targeted, fast, and problem-oriented manner. The project descriptions, complete with reference photos, drawings, and technical information, are available for download.
True-to-scale construction plans (1:20) make it easier to adapt and apply existing architectural solutions to one’s own design concepts. DETAIL Inspiration is thus an important source of research and inspiration for architectural design work within the context of architectural education.
