As part of the ‘Supply Chain Management’ module, students at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences successfully demonstrated their theoretical knowledge through a practical assignment. The challenge was first to carry out a detailed analysis of the processes on site at Novelis. They then developed various options, which were subjected to a critical evaluation. Finally, the students presented their findings directly to the company, which gave them the opportunity to apply the knowledge they had acquired in the field of logistics and supply chain management in a practical setting. Special thanks go to Novelis for providing the project brief and offering expert guidance, which gave the students valuable insights into the real world of work. This collaboration is a striking example of what a practice-oriented degree programme at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences can look like.
