The Board of Trustees represents the social context of the university and is made up of five public figures who are familiar with university matters. The Board of Trustees advises and supports the Board of Management in matters of particular regional, national and international importance, it gives its opinion on the university's draft budget and financial management, on structural and development plans and on amendments to the basic regulations. The Board of Management's annual report must be submitted to the Board of Trustees for approval prior to publication.
