Continuous evaluations of study conditions, degree programs and classes are intended to ensure, improve and further develop the quality of student services, study conditions and courses offered.
Evaluations also serve...
... the profiling of Departments and the entire university.
... accountability.
... the Accreditation of degree programs.
Evaluations are carried out in the form of surveys, interviews or data collection. In addition to the evaluations carried out centrally for the entire university, the departments may carry out further surveys on their own responsibility as part of their study programs.
Regular surveys
Students have the opportunity to confirm the work of committed instructors and give them tips on areas where there is potential for improvement. Teaching evaluations are also an indicator for the departments to ensure the quality of studies and teaching.
The aim of the first semester survey is to find out where the newly enrolled students come from, what reasons motivated them to decide to study at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences and what sources of information
they used.
The information obtained is evaluated as part of quality management and is incorporated into the continuous improvement of study conditions and the university's service and advisory offers.
The aim of course surveys is to use the experiences, insights and findings of students who are about to graduate. The results reflect a detailed picture of the entire study process and thus help to promote both the further development and quality assurance of the university's study programs.
The format of the degree program survey is currently still in the pilot phase, meaning that only students from selected degree programs in Departments 1 and 5 are being surveyed. However, the declared aim is to extend this survey format to all degree programs at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences in the near future.
In order to stay in contact with our alumni in the long term, Anhalt University of Applied Sciences has set up its own network. Alumni-anhalt creates solidarity and ensures that the knowledge gained by young graduates in the companies is continuously brought back to the university. It also forms the basis for conducting continuous alumni surveys in the future.
