We would like to make the initial period at the university easier for our newly appointed professors. The following services are available for this purpose:
Twice a year, the university invites you to a meeting for newly appointed professors. At this meeting, newly appointed professors not only have the opportunity to exchange ideas and network with each other, but also to talk about their first time at the university and everyday life at the university. Furthermore, a cross-university meeting for newly appointed professors takes place once a year for all new professors at HAWs in Saxony-Anhalt. The venue rotates every year.
As part of the "Welcome to the HSA" series of events, we will introduce you to the relevant structural units of Anhalt University of Applied Sciences. This way you will get to know the university and the people.
On the intranet (registration required) you will be given access to the welcome page for newly appointed professors. To make it easier to get started, all the information about the university's processes and structures is collected there.
