Intake winter semester 2025
Introduction Meeting organized by International Office of Anhalt University - September 10th, 2025 - 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. (German time)
First invitation is a summary of all necessary steps for enrollment at our university.
It will be provided by our International Office (IO) and our Student Service Center (SSC).
We have sent more information about this Webex meeting in a separate email to our admitted applicants.
Program Introduction Day - October 7th, 2025
We start with the information about our degree program on Tuesday, October 7th at 10:00 a.m. in Bernburger Str. 57, building 01 (red building), room 216.
New students, who are not in Germany just yet, please contact our program coordinator to get the online meeting information.
This day is very important for your studies!
Festival of Cultures - Wednesday, October 8, 2025
Day of the International University, October 8th, 04:00 p.m., Lohmannstraße 23 (Ratke-building). You can find more information here.
Beginning of study - October 13th, 2025
Your studies will start on Monday, October 13th and you have to be present in all courses to get an overview. You have to choose your courses and decide your own curriculum. If you want to start with us, we would like to know the status of your visa process, your housing situation and when you will arrive in Köthen. Is everything fine? Will you be in time?
Deadline for semester contribution and enrollment - September 30th, 2025
The semester contribution fee must be transferred to the account of Anhalt University by September 30th. This should be done by all incomers, even if you have not arrived yet.
Matriculation ceremony - October 23rd, 2025
06:30 - 07:30 p.m. // Fasanerieallee cafeteria
It's requested to attend in evening wear.

All of our courses must be attended on campus!
Usually only the Introduction Day on October 7th will be hybrid for late comers. The latest arrival tolerated will be at the end of October 2025.
In special cases, you can contact us in advance to find a hybrid solution - we offer this solution until the end of October at the latest.
