Equipment of the Microbial Communities working group
The laboratory has basic equipment for microbiological and biochemical work as well as a MALDI-TOF mass spectrometer (Bruker) for the rapid and cost-effective identification of microbial isolates. A timsTOF Pro 2 mass spectrometer (Bruker) is currently used for metaproteomics at the Chair of Bioprocess Engineering at Otto von Guericke University.
