Laboratories Bioanalytics
Field of activity:
In the bioanalytics laboratories, algae biomasses, algae extracts and purified extract fractions are analyzed using various methods with regard to their composition of ingredients and bioactive effect:
- Elemental content CHNS
- Qualitative and quantitative analysis of carotenoids, chlorophylls, fatty acids, lipid groups, amino acids, carbohydrates, etc. using spectroscopic, chromatographic and mass spectrometric methods
- Structural analysis of sulfolipids, botryococcenes and other special metabolites using mass spectrometric methods
- Protein and DNA extraction, protein and DNA quantification, agarose gels, SDS-PAGE, SEC, real-time PCR
- Antioxidants
- in-vitro bioactivity assays (antimicrobial effect, anti-inflammation, glutaminyl cyclase inhibitors, collagenase inhibitors, meprin inhibitors, etc.)
