The focus of applied and contract-funded research at the ILBQ is broadly based and relates in particular to the areas of Food Technology, Biotechnology, Algae Biotechnology, Process Technology and Measurement and Control Technology, and the ILBQ has not only been established as a research institute at the university for many years, but is also involved in the academic education and training of students.
