1. description
The ISC provides Anhalt University of Applied Sciences with voice services that are still best described colloquially as ‘telephony’. However, the technology used at our institution no longer has much to do with traditional telephony.
The service includes
Operation of the communication network required for voice transmission
Operation of access from/to external networks
external call forwarding
Provision of standard terminals for voice transmission
Allocation of extension numbers
Provision of telephone numbers for central directories
Advice on utilisation
2. authorised users
Telephony can be used by all employees, students and lecturers at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences.
However, the provision of standard end devices is not intended for students.
3. application
The installation / conversion of a telephone connection must be requested on the form
Application for connection / conversion of telephony devices to the telephone network
to the ISC.
The option of external call forwarding is requested on the form
Application for activation of external call forwarding
form.

Basic regulations for use are contained in the
Operating Regulation 1/98 „Telephony“,
issued by the ISC.
