System for transmitting high and ultra-high video signals using THz range

The knowledge and skills I am acquiring here will aid in rebuilding my country after the war.

I come from the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute”. My journey in Germany began almost three years ago when I won an internship at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences. And now I am nearing my Master’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering in Germany.

I hadn’t learned the German language at school or university, which initially made me apprehensive about moving to an unfamiliar country. However, thanks to professors and staff at Anhalt University, I was able to overcome general and academic challenges and start integration into German society. I am happy now to speak with my German neighbors fluently.

I greatly appreciate the scientific opportunities available in German universities which prepare students for careers around the world. I admire the German lifestyle, which is cozy and peaceful. Germans seem to savor every moment and plan for the long term. This approach has helped me be more consistent with my own future goals.

My project aims to develop a sophisticated system capable of transmitting high and ultra-high definition video signals using terahertz frequency range technology and will be used to help military with transmitting signals without losses.

For students who would like to study abroad, I would recommend approaching this opportunity with curiosity and an open mind. Studying abroad offers a unique chance to immerse yourself in a new culture, build global connections, and gain diverse perspectives.

Germans seem to enjoy every moment, to plan for the long term, and this approach has helped me to pursue my own future goals more consistently.
