It's never too late to learn!
My name is Yevhenii and I come from Kakhovka, Kherson region, Ukraine. I studied information systems and technology there.
Right after the war broke out, my city was occupied and it was important to me that the population was informed about the events to a sufficient extent, otherwise, there would only be chaos and panic, and disinformation spread incredibly fast.
The thoughts came together, and the idea was realised in a flash - the website of the Skarbyk project was created. There were collections of reports and info streams from trustworthy sources. Part of the information war is to be faster and more effective than the opponents – because they shot an incredible number of fake and propaganda videos that did not contain any truth, which caused a lot of panic among people. My task was to sort together everything I learned, with the limited possibilities in the limited time, and apply it! Practicing, with a good, useful purpose.
My hobbies are volleyball and playing guitar - these activities bring me back in line, they have a stabilising effect.
I am grateful to have received a scholarship and would just like to say that I will deepen and improve my previous knowledge here in Germany - there is an open door to everyone here!
