Student Lounge

Welcome and “Herzlich Willkommen” to the Studentlounge!

The Studentlounge is a cosy common room where students support each other and enjoy their free time. Here you can work together, study on your own, have a cup of coffee or just print out the next set of papers for your class.

Are you a new student at the campus in Köthen? Then the Studentlounge is your first place to go to join the local student community. You can get together with other students and enjoy some good food at the Potlucks, play some video or board games, or just come over for a chat.

Consultation service and events for international Students

Do you need some help to get to grips with your new everyday life in Germany? Then do not hesitate to ask the HiWis in the Studentlounge for advice.

With a Peer-to-Peer Consultation service, they will support you in dealing with your paperwork, in integrating yourself into German society and culture, and provide the contacts you need.

Events and Workshops

Another big plus is the FITTER4YOURCAREER project. The project organises several events & workshops throughout the year in the Student Lounge, which will help you to be better prepared for the job market and the STEM industry in Saxony-Anhalt.

The events and workshops include Peer-to-Peer Mentoring, gaining professional skills, practising your language skills and answering all your questions related to the local job market.
