They organize themselves in the Representation of Doctoral Candidates, which represents the interests of doctoral students.

The Representation of Doctoral Candidates formulates and represents the interests of doctoral students at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences. The commitment of the Representation of Doctoral Candidates makes doctoral students visible both internally and externally.
It advises on all doctoral-related issues and questions, makes recommendations to the bodies of Anhalt University of Applied Sciences and establishes interdisciplinary and interdepartmental exchange. Through its representatives, it actively participates in the Graduate Center of Anhalt University of Applied Sciences and in the Departments.
This is done, for example
- by participating in meetings of the doctoral committees in the respective doctoral centers (with speaking rights, without voting rights)
- by participating as an advisory member in the meetings of the center management and the member councils of the respective doctoral centers (LS, AD)
- in the doctoral center IWIT by participating as an advisory member in the advisory board and member council (IWIT)
- Participation in FB council meetings
- Participation in Senate meetings
Furthermore, the Representation of Doctoral Candidates supports networking among doctoral students.
The Representation of Doctoral Candidates organizes itself, takes up suggestions from doctoral students and participates in meetings of various committees in an advisory capacity.
All doctoral students who are registered or enrolled at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences are eligible to vote.
The Representation of Doctoral Candidates currently consists of 11 members. Each Department is represented by at least one member. There is a spokesperson for the Representation of Doctoral Candidates and two deputies.
Representation of Doctoral Candidates at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences
The elected Representation of Doctoral Candidates represents the interests of doctoral students at the university, in the departments and in the doctoral centers. With the 2024 election, the Representation of Doctoral Candidates was constituted for the first time and has taken up its work and appointed a spokesperson and a deputy.
