The scholarship holder must notify us immediately:
- The commencement of new gainful employment.
- Pregnancy in order to comply with maternity protection periods (see § 8 (4) GradFVO).
- The birth of a child.
- The conclusion of a marriage.
- The accrual of chargeable income (see § 7a GradFVO).
- The receipt of other talent- or performance-related material support or employment provided for the purpose of the doctorate, e.g. by foundations or departments.
- Proof of necessary partial/interruptions (see § 8 GradFVO).
- Circumstances which, according to § 8 (5) GradFVO, lead to the termination of the grant before the end of the approval period, e.g. completion of the oral doctoral examination.
The scholarship holder is subject to the following reporting obligations:
- Interim reports every 6 months, to be forwarded to the FTGZ via the supervisor. The supervisor submits a statement on the report, indicating the progress and assessment of the goal orientation and quality of the work performed. Otherwise, the university must revoke the funding with effect for the future and, if necessary, examine a retroactive revocation for the period granted.
To terminate the scholarship, the following must be submitted:
Proof of use in accordance with § 5 (5) Grad FG and § 9 GradFVO, consisting of a final report and an assurance from the scholarship holder that:
- he or she did not receive any other funding (Section 2 (3) sentence 1), he or she and his or her spouse or registered partner did not receive any income subject to offsetting (Section 5 (3) Grad FG) and
- the prerequisites for the exclusion of support for other activities (§ 7 Grad FG) were not met.
