What does 3D printing feel like? How does a robotic arm work? Can you combine Computer Science and Languages? And how do I start a dual study program with a regional company? Answers to all these questions will be provided at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences ' University Information Day (HIT ) on Saturday, May 24, 2025 on Campus Köthen - from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

The HIT is the perfect opportunity for prospective students, parents and anyone who is curious to experience the campus, get a taste of degree programs, explore laboratories - and get to know the people behind the curricula. The offer ranges from Technology and IT to Biosciences, Food Technology, Engineering and Management, Electrical Engineering and Languages of Instruction to interdisciplinary degree programs such as Applied Biosciences or Life Science Engineering.

One highlight is the company mile for dual degree programs. Regional practice partners present themselves with stands, projects and contacts - ideal for all those who want to combine study and practice. Whether Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science or Biotechnology: anyone interested in a dual or cooperative study program will find valuable contacts here - from the first interview to the subsequent application. But there is also a lot to discover away from the company mile: students present projects such as the conversion of a Mercedes Benz W201 into an electric car or sustainable concepts in Process Engineering. Interactive hands-on stations await visitors in the halls - from robotics testing and the transmission test bench to tablet production in Pharmaceutical Engineering. Topics such as CO₂ fixation using microalgae and hands-on Food Technology are also on the program.

In addition to guided tours, experiments and hands-on technology, the HIT naturally also offers comprehensive study advice on all study formats - regular, dual or part-time. Professors, staff and students will be on hand to answer questions about content, applications, housing options and scholarships. The student union, health insurance companies and housing companies are also on site.
