Anhalt University of Applied Sciences and the Landesstudienkolleg Sachsen-Anhalt (LSK Anhalt), Köthen Department, are pleased to announce the deepening of their strategic cooperation with the Studienkolleg Maroco-Allemand SARL AU. The aim of this partnership is to prepare students from Morocco to study at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences or to participate in the preparatory courses of the Preparatory College (Landesstudienkolleg) Saxony-Anhalt, while promoting a sustainable intercultural dialog.

The cooperation comprises two central programs: a preparatory course for studying at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, which prepares participants for the course-related entrance examination at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, and a preparatory course specifically geared towards the entrance examination of the Preparatory College (Landesstudienkolleg). Both programs are conducted at the Studienkolleg Maroco-Allemand and are closely aligned with the curricula and quality standards in Germany.

"This partnership is an important step towards the internationalization of our educational offer. It combines academic excellence with intercultural skills development and creates reliable bridges for young people from Morocco who wish to study in Germany," says Prof. Jörg Bagdahn, President of Anhalt University of Applied Sciences.

"I am delighted that the signing of the cooperation agreement between our university and the Maroco-Allemand preparatory college has laid the foundation for jointly coordinated educational programs. The preparation of young people from Morocco at your preparatory college will open doors for our university and the entire region," adds Prof. Uta Seewald-Heeg, Vice-President for International Affairs and Gender Equality.

In addition to subject-specific preparation, the programs focus specifically on language support in German and cultural orientation. During the courses, counseling sessions on choosing a course of study are held in close cooperation between the Maroco-Allemand preparatory college and the contact persons at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences.

The entrance examinations are organized by Anhalt University of Applied Sciences or the Köthen department of the Preparatory College (Landesstudienkolleg) of Saxony-Anhalt and take place on site in Morocco. Successful participants are given the opportunity to enroll directly in a suitable degree program at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences or to be accepted into an FSP course at the Preparatory College (Landesstudienkolleg) in Köthen.

Hammadi Boujbiha, director and founder of the Studienkolleg Maroco-Allemand, also emphasizes the importance of the cooperation: "This partnership is an important step for us - and a great motivation. I studied in Germany myself. From this personal experience, I have a very good understanding of the needs and ambitions of young people. Anhalt University of Applied Sciences stands for future-oriented degree programs and a strong international orientation - exactly what our students need to develop successfully in a globalized world. "The contractual partners emphasize the high quality and transparency of the selection process as well as the fair allocation of places based on examination results. Students receive comprehensive support with their application, visa application and - after successful admission - also with finding accommodation in Germany.
