Anhalt University of Applied Sciences cordially invites you to the graduation ceremony for graduates of the class of 2024 on April 25, 2025 in the cafeteria on Campus Bernburg. A total of 522 graduates will be bid farewell. Around 150 graduates will actively participate in the ceremony, including 30 who will be honored for their outstanding achievements.
The graduation ceremony is a special event in the lives of the alumni of the Departments of Agriculture, Ecotrophology and Landscape Development and Economics at the Bernburg campus location of Anhalt University of Applied Sciences. The focus of the celebration is the ceremonial farewell of the new graduates by their Degree Program Advisors.
Admission and the handover of hats to the Master's students will begin at 15:00. At 4:00 p.m., the guests will be welcomed by the Vice-President for Research, Transfer and Sustainability, Professor Markus Holz, as campus representative of Anhalt University of Applied Sciences. The President of the university, Professor Jörg Bagdahn, will then speak about friendships that outlast studies. Dr. Silvia Ristow, Mayor of the City of Bernburg, gives the ceremonial address.
Afterwards, the Deans of both Departments congratulate the graduates of the Bachelor's and Master's degree programs of both Departments. Another highlight of the event is the award ceremony for the best graduates of the year, who will receive special recognition for their hard work and commitment during their studies.
The official part of the ceremony ends with a joint toss of the hat and leads on to the champagne reception, where the now former students can capture their joyful moment with a photo in front of our photo wall as a memento.
