Department of Food Process Engineering & Chemical Process Engineering

The Institute of Food Process Technology is a working group in the Center of Life Sciences at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences.

The core competence of the Institute of Food Process Technology working group is the description of processes in heterogeneous systems, homogeneous, heterogeneous and biocatalysis as well as the determination of physico-chemical data for the analysis, modeling, simulation, design and optimization of material conversion and material conversion processes.

The working group cooperates with scientific research institutions such as the OvGU and the MPI Magdeburg as well as companies in joint research projects within the framework of funded projects or service contracts. The focus is on model-based process development and optimization.
