Roxana Eberlein is studying Agriculture in her 3rd semester. In a short interview, she tells us what motivated her to study agriculture and what has been the most exciting part of her studies since then.

What made you want to study Agriculture?
My uncle has a farm and I've been there every year since I met him. Nature fascinates me and I find it interesting to grow specific crops, watch them thrive and have an influence.

What makes studying at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences so attractive to you?
Anhalt University of Applied Sciences is very informal and practice-oriented. You can tell that the professors and lecturers speak from their own experience. We also receive very motivating and individual support. After lectures, we like to meet up in the U-Boot, a student pub right on campus, where we can philosophize together about God and the world. You can also meet professors there.

What has been the most exciting thing you have experienced during your studies so far?
In principle, everything is exciting. Looking back, it was probably the first few days: the new environment, the new people and the new teaching methods. But I also like the exam period and the student parties, because you can sit together and talk to each other. Every day has something new in store!

And after your studies: what happens next?
I think I might do a master's degree program to match my bachelor's degree. Or I might gain more practical experience and then come back to the university. I don't know exactly yet.

When you're not in the lecture hall, where can you be found in your free time on campus or in the surrounding area?
I like to spend a lot of time with my boyfriend, who is studying with me. We get on really well. We often meet up with our best friend, with whom we laugh a lot. At home, I like to ride my tractor or spend time with my dog or my little cousin.
