Course content and objectives
Are you already aware of the importance of a holistic approach to the prevention and treatment of illnesses? With the master's degree in Naturopathic Health Promotion, you will deepen this knowledge in a targeted manner and expand your specialist and methodological skills in this field. The focus of the program lies not on the local consideration of individual risk factors but on the inclusion of the whole body, including psychological, lifestyle and social environmental factors. Integrative health promotion measures are clearly linked to a lower risk of illness, improved ability to recover after illness and the associated lower costs for the healthcare system.
On the basis of evidence-based recommendations and guidelines, the program combines the content of preventive medicine with knowledge of naturopathic and psychosocial health promotion. This prepares you for competent and target group-specific work. During your studies, we place particular emphasis on practical and interdisciplinary teaching as well as individual support.
Your degree will qualify you to work in responsible positions at the interface between medicine and naturopathy. You will also be able to carry out independent scientific work, enabling you to critically interpret study results and to apply and further develop scientific methods and findings. Thus, the career-intergrateing program helps you specialize and professionalize in this promising field.
