Course content and objectives
The Master's degree program in Sustainable and Process Engineering warrants further education in natural and technical sciences, expanding competences acquired in the first academic degree. Extensive knowledge and skills in the fields of regenerative energies, heat, refrigeration and process engineering as well as the simulation and modeling of processes and the application of artificial intelligence are imparted, so that graduates are able to apply scientific methods and findings vocationally and solve interdisciplinary problems. Furthermore, social, ecological, economic and ergonomical basic skills prepare graduates for future management tasks.
Requirements
Admission requirement is a qualified university degree in an engineering degree program.
Applicants whose Bachelor's degree program comprises 210 ETCS must acquire 90 ECTS in the course of their Master's degree program (in accordance with the SPO MEP).
Applicants whose Bachelor's degree program comprises 180 ECTS must have successfully completed 30 ECTS adaptation modules in addition to the modules according to the current SPO by the time of the Master's thesis colloquium. These adaptation modules are determined individually by the academic advisor.
Recognized German language certificates for international applicants:
- DSH2
- TestDaF-4xTDN4
- Equivalent language certificates if applicable
1. Grade of the first degree:
- Final grade ≤ 2.5 - direct admission
- Final grade > 2.5 - admission possible, application goes to the assessment procedure
2. Further criteria:
- Aptitude interview, if applicable
This Master's degree course also exists as a dual study option.
This requires an internship or employment contract with an industry-specific company.
