Course content and objectives
Students obtain a deep understanding of processes and their interfaces in order to be scientifically and entrepreneurially successful in the global competition at the management level. They expand the knowledge they gained in the bachelor’s program and engineering working methods. The Master of Engineering degree enables graduates to enter into careers in all companies that work with general mechanical engineering, in particular the automobile industry and its national and international suppliers. Successful graduates of Anhalt University’s degree program find interesting managerial positions in research and development divisions. The master’s degree also qualifies graduates to start a doctorate. Graduates can also enter into higher civil service (höherer Dienst).
Requirements
Admission requirement is a qualified university degree in the Bachelor's degree course in Mechanical Engineering or comparable courses with a standard period of study of at least 7 semesters (210 credits).
Recognized language certificates for international applicants to the German-taught study options:

- Equivalent language certificates if applicable
Accepted proof of language proficiency for the English-taught study option:
- MoI letter from previous degree
- C1
- CAE
- TOEFL (iBT) min. 100
- IELTS min. 7.0
Applicants for the English-taught study option must provide proof of relevant professional experience of at least one year following the completion of their first degree.
