Mathematics for first-year students
Preparatory course "Mathematics for first-year students" of the An-Institut für Medizin & Technik e.V. - compact course

Over five days with a total of 28 lessons (Monday - Thursday 6 hours each, Friday 4 hours) you can refresh and deepen your knowledge of the following topics:
- Elementary mathematics
Solving algebraic equations, binomial formulas, power, root and logarithm laws, solving equations with powers, roots and logarithms, calculating with inequalities and amounts (approx. 14 hours per semester). - Number sequences
Special sequences, convergence, determining limits, (approx. 4 hours per week per semester) - Simple functions and their properties
Linear and quadratic functions, exponential and logarithmic functions, trigonometric functions (approx. 6 hours per week per semester) - Differential calculus
Differential quotient, differentiation rules (approx. 2 hours per week per semester) - Integral calculus
Area calculations, simple integrals (approx. 2 hours per week per semester)
Great interest at the opening event of the Mathematics Preparation Course 2025. Prof. Schnöll, the director of the institute, opens the event before Prof. Horst Beige will start with the course content.
