A Holistic Approach to Fostering a Vibrant Startup Culture
With the “Perspektive.Gründen” project, Anhalt University of Applied Sciences aims to holistically strengthen the startup culture at all three of its campuses and to specifically promote the transfer of innovative research findings into the business sector. The goal is to identify startup initiatives at an early stage, support them, and ensure their sustainable implementation.
The project relies on a combination of teaching, awareness-raising, and individual mentoring to empower students, researchers, and staff to think and act entrepreneurially. In this way, the university positions itself as a driving force for innovation, knowledge transfer, and regional economic development.
Objectives and Focus Areas
“Perspektive.Gründen” deliberately goes beyond traditional startup support: In addition to technology-oriented startup projects, it also provides targeted support for freelance and creative business ventures as well as business succession planning. The focus is on unlocking and nurturing existing potential—from the initial idea to successful implementation.
A vibrant startup culture is being established through the rebuilding and expansion of training programs, practice-oriented event formats, and ongoing startup consulting. This is complemented by innovative approaches to talent development and digital networking that foster exchange among founders, instructors, and external partners.
Strengthening the Entrepreneurial Ecosystem
A central component of the project is the sustainable strengthening of the regional entrepreneurial ecosystem. To this end, existing support services are being optimized, new collaborations are being established, and the FOUND IT! Startup Center is being positioned as a visible brand both within and outside the university.
The goal is to specifically target talent with an interest in entrepreneurship, provide individualized support, and retain them in the region over the long term. This creates a strong network that not only initiates startups but also supports them beyond the university’s boundaries.
Digitalization and Innovation in Startup Support
To make startup processes more efficient, the project is developing innovative digital structures and formats for consulting, training, and project management. These tools facilitate access to support services, promote knowledge exchange, and help ensure that ideas can be transformed into marketable products and services more quickly.
Impact and Sustainability
“Perspektive.Gründen” lays the foundation for a sustainably strengthened, innovation-driven startup culture at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences. Through targeted communication strategies, the expansion of startup support, and close collaboration with regional partners, the project helps unlock individual potential and boost the long-term competitiveness of the entire region.
