Childcare in Bernburg
Employees of the university as well as students can rely on Professor Eule: At the Strenzfeld Campus in Bernburg, the day care center “Prof. Eule und seine Freunde” offers loving and individual childcare in the childminder’s apartment This is an important offer to make it easier to combine studies or work and family.
"Professor Eule" lessens the burden, for example, when attendance is flexible as part of the distance-learning program. In addition, exam periods do not come at the expense of family vacation time. During the semester, it is possible to have children as young as two months old cared for at an individual time from Monday to Saturday.
The 75 m² apartment is located in direct proximity to the lecture rooms. The green campus of the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences offers plenty of space for playing, climbing, or playing soccer. Just across the street from the apartment is a playground, and the university's mules, Benjamin and Aslan, are happy to have visitors. A few steps away you can encounter the wild deer of the university.

Want to breastfeed or change your child between lectures? This is possible with the parent-child room on Campus Bernburg. On the upper floor of the Müntzer-Haus (room 202), mom and dad will find a quiet retreat equipped with everything they need.
The parent-child room has a room with a desk, a bed with fall-out protection, a changing table and a seat with a nursing cushion. There is also a baby food warmer, a microwave and a fridge. There is also an en-suite bathroom. Toys for all ages are also available and are waiting to be used.
The room can be used free of charge by students and employees of Anhalt University of Applied Sciences. The key can be collected from the porter opposite the main building in return for a signature.

There is a baby changing area in the cafeteria and in the Roemer-Haus (1st floor).
The Studentenwerk offers a free children's plate for children of students in every Studentenwerk cafeteria. Only a copy of the certificate of enrollment and the certificate of parentage must be enclosed with the application. The application can be handed in at the cafeteria.
All children of students born on or after October 1, 2009 receive a 100 euro welcome grant.
