For instructors

The future starts now!

Are you a tutor in the upper school or responsible for study and career guidance at your school? Then you've come to the right place!

We offer various formats on the topic of study and career choices. Choose from the formats presented below and put together your own individual information offer.

Study orientation formats

Get to know our study orientation formats and get in touch with us!

Hands-on offer from the departments

As we don't want to give students an understanding of the content of the degree programs, we focus primarily on participation and trying things out. We offer workshops and hands-on activities in almost every department. From practical applications in computer science and chemistry experiments to visual and audible physics.

Depending on the topic and scope, we check availability in the individual departments. Please note that this offer format is particularly complex to plan and implement and that an early request of at least 10 weeks is a prerequisite.

University presentation

In the university presentation, we would like to introduce you and your SUS to Anhalt University of Applied Sciences and its diverse departments and study opportunities at the three locations Bernburg, Dessau and Köthen. This short presentation is given either by one of our SchoolCampus staff or a student and is a good start to a study orientation day.

Specialist lecture

Want to get more technical? In our specialist lectures, employees and/or professors from the university introduce subject areas or expand on knowledge already acquired.

Campus tours

There is so much to discover at our three campuses. We invite you and your students to take part in our individual campus tours.

Depending on location, availability and weather conditions, we can organize the following tours:

  • Digital campus tours via YouTube
  • Laboratory tours (Campus DES, KÖT, BBG)
  • Workshop tours (DES, KÖT, BBG campuses)
  • Field tours (BBG campus)
  • Grove tour (Campus BBG)
  • Guided tour of the Bauhaus (Campus DES)

Perspectives picnic

At the Perspectives Picnic, we want to get into conversation with the students in a relaxed atmosphere. We want to point out opportunities, discuss the pros and cons of different study and career paths and think together about what to do after graduation. Our "Perspectives Picnics" usually take place with the support of a representative from the employment agency and a student.

Parents' evenings

Even though the majority of students in the upper school manage their school life independently and parents' evenings are the norm in the lower grades, parents remain important confidants and important advisors for making decisions about what to do after graduation.

However, it is not easy for parents to navigate through the maze of information - either because they have not studied themselves or because their own time at university was a long time ago. Neither is a flaw! This is precisely why we offer the opportunity to provide information at parents' evenings on the topics of studying, study requirements, financing, housing, etc.
