Student Mentoring
Dear first-year students, dear students,
The transition from high school, vocational training, or the workforce to everyday life at the university can be very challenging. We, the mentors, are here to support you with advice and assistance to make your start as a student easier. Of course, you’re also welcome to reach out to us throughout your entire time at the university.
We were in your shoes just a few semesters ago, so we can share our experiences with you and offer tips for this new phase of your life to help you quickly find your way at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences.
Key areas of focus for our student mentoring program include:
- general questions about your studies and everyday student life,
- how to find your class schedule,
- how to use Moodle and the HISQIS exam portal,
- how to manage exam stress,
- and if you simply need someone to talk to—even about non-organizational issues.
We’re really looking forward to meeting you in person at the start of the semester!
We, the mentors, are here to help you get off to a good start by offering advice and support. Of course, you’re also welcome to reach out to us throughout your entire academic career.
