The articles included in the *Conference Proceedings Journal* are based on the proceedings of the International Conference on Applied Innovations in IT (ICAIIT), which takes place once a year in March in Köthen, Germany. The conference provides an international forum for researchers, development engineers, and other professionals to conduct presentations and discussions of current research findings and practical developments in the field of applied information technologies and their interdisciplinary applications.
The English-language papers, which have been accepted through the peer-review process and presented at the annual conference, form the basis for the corresponding annual issue of the Conference Proceedings Journal, officially titled *Proceedings of the International Conference on Applied Innovations in IT*, or *Proceedings of the ICAIIT* for short.
The journal is published by Edition Hochschule Anhalt and has been in circulation since 2013. In addition to the annual issue based on the ICAIIT, the journal offers year-round opportunities to publish additional scholarly articles and special issues outside of the annual March conference. These special issues can be prepared and published in collaboration with international conferences, universities, research institutions, and other academic partners.

The goal of the *Conference Proceedings Journal* is to publish and disseminate original research findings on the development, application, evaluation, and practical implementation of information technologies and IT-based methods.
