If multiple authors are listed on a manuscript, all are expected to have made a significant contribution to the research and approve the submission.
Research on humans and animals Human studies:
- When conducting human studies, authors must adhere to the ethical principles of the Declaration of Helsinki.
- Animal testing must comply with ARRIVE guidelines and be conducted in accordance with applicable legislation (e.g. U.K. Animals [Scientific Procedures] Act 1986, EU Directive 2010/63/EU or equivalent national standards).
Use of AI in Manuscript Preparation:
- Authors who utilize generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools during writing must ensure these tools are used strictly for language refinement and clarity, under direct human supervision. AI-generated content should not be listed as an author or cited as a source. A clear disclosure of any AI usage must be included in the manuscript. Final responsibility for the work rests solely with the human authors.
Disclosure of AI-Assisted Writing:
- Authors must include a statement in the main manuscript—positioned before the References section—if generative AI tools were used during the manuscript preparation. This disclosure should be placed under a dedicated section titled "Declaration of Generative AI and AI-assisted Technologies in the Writing Process."
Authorship Changes
- Authors must finalize and agree upon the list and order of contributors before submitting their manuscript. Once submitted, no changes to authorship will be allowed. The editorial team will not entertain any requests to modify author details post-submission.
Funding Acknowledgement
- All sources of financial support for the research and/or manuscript preparation must be disclosed. Authors should also indicate the role (if any) of the funders in designing the study, collecting and analyzing data, interpreting results, preparing the manuscript, and deciding to submit the article. If the sponsors were not involved, authors are encouraged to explicitly state this.

The Reviewer Recognition Service from Clarivate (Web of Science) is an online service that serves to make the valuable work of reviewers of scientific journals visible and officially recognized. This service provides a platform to document review activities and thereby increase the visibility and recognition of scientific contributions.
Advantages of the Reviewer Recognition Service:
- Recognition and visibility: the service makes it possible to officially record and publicize reviewer activity, which not only strengthens personal reputations but can also boost academic careers.
- Certification: Reviewers receive a certificate upon completion of their review activities, which they can add to their academic portfolio.
- Networking: By participating, reviewers can get in touch with other scientists and expand their professional network.
- Transparency and traceability: The service provides transparent documentation of review processes, which can contribute to the quality and integrity of scientific publications.
- Personal development: Scientists can expand their own field of knowledge and make a valuable contribution to the scientific community through the review activity.
Journals
The articles included in the conference proceedings journal are based on the proceedings of the International Conference on Applied Innovations in IT (ICAIIT), which provides a forum for researchers, development engineers and others interested in the theoretical basis and application of knowledge in the respective fields. Overall, the conference proceedings are a valuable resource for anyone interested in the latest developments and advances in the field of IT innovations.
The aim of the conference report journal is to provide readers with an overview of the research methods, processing and data analysis used in the studies presented, as well as an in-depth discussion of the key theories underpinning work in information technology.
The journal, which is edited at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, has been published since 2013.
