Interlibrary loan
The interlibrary loan service of the Common Library Network (GBV) allows you to order books, chapters and journal articles that are not in the library collection. An alternative to interlibrary loan is the commercial document delivery service Subito.
GVK - Joint Union Catalogue
The Joint Union Catalogue (GVK) is the freely accessible section of the union database K10plus with the references of the GBV and SWB libraries. It also contains the journal references of the subito supplier libraries from Germany and Austria as well as the German libraries relevant to lending. The joint union catalog (GVK) contains over 82.1 million titles of books, journals, articles, congress reports, microforms, electronic documents, data carriers, music, maps etc. from over 1,000 libraries from the GBV and the SWB, 80.0 million of them with 246.6 million ownership records.
Interlibrary loan in the university library
Interlibrary loans are divided into loan and copy requests. Journal articles and essays are delivered digitally (PDF) or as printed copies.
Printed interlibrary loans can be picked up at the respective library location and can also be picked up via the service boxes outside of opening hours.
