A new academic year full of discoveries, exciting stories and perspectives begins: Anhalt University's Seniorenkolleg opens doors to topics that move, surprise and inspire.

The 2025/26 program ranges from a look behind the scenes of the University Library to a virtual trip to the legendary Hotel Astoria and insights into the fascinating world of artificial intelligence.

Other highlights include a lecture on the booming market for dietary supplements, the question of whether good surgery is possible without certificates, a live demonstration of energy production with hydrogen, the moving life story of an engineer from Köthen in the Soviet Union, student construction projects in Africa - and finally a trip to the Wolfen Industry and Film Museum.

Whether technology, health, history or culture - each event invites you to learn something new and see familiar things with different eyes. All interested parties are welcome, regardless of prior knowledge. Participation is free of charge.
