The bachelor’s degree program in Nutrition Therapy primarily aims to further qualify individuals from various health professions to be able to work in a nutrition therapy capacity.

To achieve this, the program provides the knowledge and skills required for use in nutrition therapy with a focus on various illnesses and cohorts. Based on the knowledge gained from pathophysiology, nutrition science and the psychology of nutrition, students will be able to systematically identify malnutrition and poor diets as well as diseases requiring special forms of nutrition and to treat them competently. Ethical, social, economic and health policy requirements are also covered.
