Cisco WebEx: You must register with this service. Cisco WebEx is licensed for all lecturers. All employees and students can use this service without restriction. In recent years, the best experiences have been made with this tool, which is licensed for the university, regardless of the number of participants in a video conference. In addition to standard use, subgroup sessions can also be activated.

As a rule, a video conference is relatively simple. You send a web link to the participants, which they open (preferably on a laptop with a microphone and webcam). You can then share your screen so that you can show any files (PPTX, PDF, DOCX, etc.).
You should test all offers bilaterally beforehand so that you develop a feeling for how to use them (camera position, volume, video quality) and also to ensure that your own technical requirements work. The use of a headset is recommended, as the microphones of webcams or laptops sometimes do not transmit the best sound quality.
There are free apps for WebEx for Android and iOS that can be used on smartphones or tablets.
If you already have an account for other video conferencing systems, you can of course use these. However, the university cannot provide technical support.
Cisco WebEx

suitable for up to 23 participants - previously often overloaded and therefore sometimes unstable.
