FSP and DSH courses at the Studienkolleg
If you are from another country and want to study in Germany, you will need to show proof of German proficiency and knowledge in your subject area. Find out which exams you need to take and how you can apply to a Studienkolleg.
The Studienkolleg (preparatory program) assists international students who need to take
- an assessment exam (Feststellungsprüfung, FSP) or
- the German language exam for university entrance (Deutsche Sprachprüfung für den Hochschulzugang, DSH)
in order to be able to study in Germany. In our FSP and DSH Courses we prepare students for these exams and proctor them. Because courses are held only in German, German language skills (TestDaF minimum level of B1 or comparable level) are required.
Those who successfully complete the exams can then study at any full university or university of applied sciences in Germany.
