General Framework Conditions

Whether it's a part-time job, working student contract or semester break job, there are many different ways to find a part-time job outside of university.

The regional contact points of the Federal Employment Agency often have a job placement service for students. At large universities there are job offers at the student union. Online job exchanges can be found on the university websites and on the websites of the student unions. Sometimes all you need to do is look on the notice board at the university or in the advertising markets of local and regional newspapers.

Please note that you are allowed to work a maximum of 20 hours per week during the semester with your student visa, and 40 hours during the semester break.

The university's job portal ANHALTS.punkt.Karriere

should be your first port of call when looking for part-time jobs. There you will regularly find advertisements from local companies looking for working students/part-time jobs.
