Orientation and trial offers

We offer the opportunity to get to know the university and its departments directly and personally in taster sessions and on our university information days.

Girls'Day & Boys'Day

For many years, Anhalt University of Applied Sciences has offered girls the opportunity to get a taste of technical and scientific careers on Girls' Day. This year, we also have offers for boys for the first time.

HIT

Once a year, all our campuses invite students to the University Information Day (HIT for short). Prospective students, applicants, parents and interested members of the public have the opportunity to take a look at the departments and individual degree programs at the university, find out more and talk to instructors and students.

Taster course

We are happy to give interested pupils the opportunity to get a taste of the workshop and laboratory with student experiments as well as to get to know real courses for the first time as part of a taster study day.

In this section, prospective students can find out how to proceed when choosing a course of study and find further links to interest and personality tests.

Vacation offers

We offer various vacation packages to help you find your way around and get to know our specialist areas.

14th Köthen Games Camp

The games camp takes place annually during the fall break in the Department of Computer Science and is aimed at students between the ages of 14 and 17 who are interested in computer science applications, especially game programming.

Labs and project work

Would you like to experience the university atmosphere first-hand? And complete a voluntary or school-based lab to find out more? We offer the opportunity to explore the university and its departments up close.

Labs at school

Are you in year 10 at grammar school or upper secondary school and looking for an internship? You can apply for your work placement (usually 1-2 weeks) here.

Lab to obtain the entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences

Do you already have the school part of your entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences in your pocket? Then complete the vocational part of the entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences with a one-year lab at our university.

Pre-study lab

A-levels in your pocket or well on the way? The next step: applying to university! Would you like to confirm your decision or make a study choice? A pre-study lab is a good way to do this.

Technical paper

Would you like to write a thesis in a STEM subject? In addition to theoretical and technical support, application-oriented practical problem solving is possible, e.g. in our pilot plants and laboratories.

Special learning achievement

Are you fascinated by a subject in which you would like to deepen your knowledge and even replace a written Abitur examination? This is possible with a special learning achievement that corresponds to at least one elective course (two semesters).

Youth research

Immerse yourself in the world of science and research, get to the bottom of a problem of your choice and help shape the future now!

Online and multimedia offerings

Here you will find projects with multimedia content on the subject of STEM. From the intoMINT app to our online learning labs, there is a lot to discover.

Go MINT! Ice cream from the oven? Make your own deodorant and lipstick? Or find out how a helicopter weighing several tons can fly using two thin rotor blades? Discover creative projects, exciting experiments and great step-by-step instructions on super exciting topics from the STEM world anywhere and at any time.

Flexible online learning in the digital learning lab The Digital Learning Lab offers a variety of online courses on exciting computer science topics that you can complete at your own pace. After registering, you will receive access data for the Moodle platform. Our course tutor will support you with any questions. We will send you any materials you need, such as a micro:bit, by post. Discover the world of computer science and deepen your knowledge!
