Tasks of the Central German Institute for Wine Research
The Central German Institute for Wine Research primarily ensures applied transfer-oriented research for companies in the wine-growing regions of Saale-Unstrut, Saxony and Thuringia. In addition, however, it also serves to integrate wine production topics in an appropriate manner into teaching in the Departments of Agriculture, Ecotrophology and Landscape Development as well as Applied Biosciences and Process Engineering. Previous international collaborations will continue to expand the expertise of the Wine Institute in the future and be incorporated into its work.
