Food process engineering

Research characteristics

The Food Process Engineering research group, headed by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Thomas Kleinschmidt, strives for innovative and practical solutions in the field of milk and powder-based technologies. Within the scope of third-party funded projects and contract research, the focus is on target-oriented cooperation with industrial partners from the regional, national and international environment. In conjunction with our active participation in scientific and industry associations, we contribute to shaping the milk-based food industry landscape.

Service contracts can be processed in an application-oriented manner in the team network of the Institut Fritz-Höppler e.V. (formerly Institut für Lebensmitteltechnik, Biotechnology und Qualitätssicherung e.V.) and our working group at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences.
