Specialist databases
The Database Information System (DBIS) contains a list of all scientific specialist databases available at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences, which list literature and in some cases make it directly available in full text. The databases in DBIS are organized by subject (subject overview DBIS). However, it is also possible to search by name, database type or type of use.
Access to the relevant databases is indicated by a traffic light graphic in DBIS. Licensed content can only be used via the campus network or remote access.

The Official Spatial Information System(ARIS) of Saxony-Anhalt is a comprehensive geoinformation system that serves as a public digital information source for Administration, Economics, Science and Politics. ARIS links specialist geodata from various authorities in the state of Saxony-Anhalt with the basic geodata of the State Office for Surveying and Geoinformation (LVermGeo). The database provides access to a wide range of information, including spatial development plans and data, demographic data such as population figures at district level (updated quarterly) and information on wind turbines in Saxony-Anhalt.

The beck-online legal database offers access to millions of documents, decisions, commentaries, procedural forms and sample contracts. It contains authoritative standard works and commentaries, as well as the latest editions, laws and decisions.
Beck-online is only accessible from the campus network, but not via remote access.
The CAS SciFinderⁿ (Chemical Abstracts) is an essential database in the field of chemistry and pharmacy, which is freely available to members of Anhalt University of Applied Sciences and provides access to the world's largest collection of chemical information. It also covers related fields such as Process Engineering, Materials Science and Biotechnology. SciFinderⁿ is offered by Chemical Abstract Service (CAS).

The IEEE / IET Electronic Library (IEEE Xplore database) provides access to around 2 million documents in the fields of "Electrical engineering" and "Computer science literature", mainly publications of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the IET (Institution of Engineering and Technology).
The journals contained are listed in the EZB.

As one of the leading online providers of legal information in Germany,Juris offers the most comprehensive collection of court decisions, laws, standards and literature references and supplements these with journals, commentaries and work aids. On these pages you will find valuable entry aids.

SCOPUS is an English-language, licensed bibliographic database for the natural sciences, technology, medicine and health sciences, social sciences, arts and humanities.

The Library of Anhalt University of Applied Sciences now offers access to Scopus AI. As an extension of the Scopus database, Scopus AI answers search queries in natural language of instruction and thus aims to support researchers and students in gaining a better understanding of academic content, opening up new subject areas and conducting further research.
